Vision & Purpose
Open Door Community Church exists for the glory and edification of God; to assist Believers to continually grow into a deeper relationship with God; to be a conduit for non-believers to enter into a relationship with God through His son, Jesus Christ. We believe that this will be accomplished as we fulfill the vision and purpose that God has placed before us. ODCC’s vision is as follows:
ODCC welcomes people of all ages, backgrounds and life experiences into this fellowship. We believe that a diverse church is a healthy church.
ODCC has a passion to minister to the unmet needs of our community. The 3 largest unmet needs of our community that we have identified are associated with: youth; single parent families; and “empty nesters”.
ODCC’s ministries are primarily, but not exclusively, directed at the above mentioned needs. All ministries and outreaches are developed based upon needs and only in alignment with our overall vision.
ODCC is a church that cares for its own members by providing for their spiritual, emotional, physical and relational needs through proper equipping and support and by providing a safe environment in which needs can be expressed.
ODCC provides support, resources and guidance to equip its members in order to serve in various ministry and community service opportunities. Our members have a personal and direct impact for Christ in their neighborhoods, workplaces and in their communities. Continued
